About your experience with
Ocoee Outreach
Looking for an incredible mission experience for your group?
We offer a fully programmed mission experience! From providing meals, construction materials, a summer staff member designated for your team, opportunities for community outreach in the evenings, we have you covered! Below is what a typical week with Ocoee Outreach will look like: (specifics are subject to change!)
Sunday evening– we begin our week with all groups coming together for a kickoff service at a local church! Highlighted by impactful worship, a challenge from the Word of God, and team orientation, this time is designed to have you fully ready & equipped for your week with Ocoee Outreach.
Monday-Thursday– work on project sites from 7am-3pm; Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday evenings can be utilized for additional ministry in our community (block party in a neighborhood/park; visiting nursing homes; prayer walking; or your own worship/Bible study time with your group!)
Thursday evening– all groups gather together again at a local church for a meal and our celebration service! You will get to hear stories and experiences from other sites, see a video recap, and spend time being commissioned back to your home town.
Friday (barring no project completion is needed!) is “fall in love with Southeast Tennessee Day” with activities such as whitewater rafting on the Ocoee River or enjoy a fun/reward day doing something else that this beautiful area has to offer. We have plenty of suggestions for things your group can do so just ask!
